I’m winding up some of my “in-progress” artworks to get them ready for my show, which opens this coming Saturday, October 11th! It will be at 6:00 pm, at the Jennifer Zingg Studio and Gallery, located at 210 W. Broadway, Frankfort KY.
I am very much excited to be able to share my art with everyone, and hope you’ll join me for the opening night!
The photo here is a closeup of the plastic Grocery Bag Petticoat, which will be paired with the Milkweed Frock Coat that I’m finishing up today. Other artworks in this show will include some “oldies” from the past, a lot of new recycled and fabric art, various types of wearables, quilted paintings, photographs, and some experimental sculpture.
Also, I’ve just heard that we may be graced with some live music, too…I can’t wait!
Hi Jamie!
Not sure if you remember me… I guess I was a sophmore or freshman when you graduated, but I remember your orange peel shoes and dryer sheet dress. Just wanted to say that I love your stuff. How long is your exhibition going to be up? I’m in Germany (hah), but I’ll be coming to Kentucky in December so… if this is a multiple months thing and you can let me know, I’d love to come 😉
Hi Claire, Thanks very much, and I’m so glad that you’re interested in seeing my exhibit! 😀
Unfortunately, It’s coming down right before Halloween. BUT—that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a *traveling* exhibit, right? Perhaps I’ll have the work exhibited at another location some other time…
And of course, I’ll try to get lots of photos of the exhibit to share here on my website.
Be well, best wishes, and keep in touch!
